Autumn recap

Sorry, it's been a wee while since I posted to this - if you follow our Instagram or Facebook pages, you'll have seen that we've been really busy with some amazing weddings and parties over the last wee while! Here's a recap of what we've been up to in September and October so far:

We started September down in Cumbria for Emma & Elizabeth's stunner of a wedding. We ran the sound, provided instruments, did the DJ, ran the ceilidh and were generally involved in most aspects of their super-fun day. Low House is a brilliant venue, with an excellent outdoor space.

Next up, we were back at Ballogie House in Aberdeenshire for Samantha & Lewis' wedding. We always love visiting this fantastic venue - the marquee makes for a stunning setting for weddings and a great space for a party.

We stayed in the north of the country for Mia & Robert's wedding. They got hitched at the beautiful Achnagairn Estate near Inverness - first time for us there, but hopefully not the last! Mia & Robert live in Australia, so most of their crowd had never done a ceilidh before - it was so much fun to call for these guys!

After Achnagairn, we were back at one of our regular ceilidh haunts: Guardswell Farm! It's the perfect rustic venue with fabulous views. Katie & Harris' wedding was a joy to be a part of - packed dancefloor all night for both the ceilidh and the DJ set.

The following weekend we were back at Edinburgh Zoo for Linda & Mark's wedding. This is a great, unique venue for weddings that is always nice to play in. Linda & Mark had a really enthusiastic crowd who danced all night!

A couple of days later, we were off to Stirling Court Hotel for Sheila & Michael's wedding. They live in Australia so most of their guests had never done a ceilidh before - always fun!

We were back in the north again at Meldrum House for what was one of the wildest ceilidhs we've had for a long time! Gemma & Graeme's awesome crowd were up on the floor for the entire set - it was really brilliant to play for these guys!

We were off to Fife next for a really lovely midweek wedding at Cambo House - great venue and always lovely to play at.

Finally, we had the absolute pleasure of playing at BAaD in Glasgow. This is a new venue for us but one that I hope we'll return to very soon! Aimie & Christian's crowd were up for a good time, and danced the entire night. Amazing all round!

In case you can't tell, we've really enjoyed the last month or so! Always a pleasure to play at such special weddings for such amazing people!
